KATSINA Honorable Hamza Sule Faskari, the Katsina State Commissioner for Environment, marked Eid El Fitr celebrations in his hometown of Faskari by distributing Sallah gift packages to individuals from various parts of his constituency.
Hamza Sule, who serves as the Wamban Faskari and Sadaukin Kasar Hausa, welcomed numerous political figures, young people, underprivileged individuals, community development organizations, along with family members and friends to his home in Faskari on Monday.
Following his customary practice, Hamza Sule offered lunch, Eid presents, and financial aid as 'Barka da Sallah' to delight his visitors. Afterward, he distributed monetary gifts to every ward within the region.
The leading politician and humanitarian handed out a sum of N5.6 million to numerous groups, organizations, and individuals. This included funding for five APC supporter groups in recognition of their contributions and to motivate them to further mobilize backing for the party within the region.
The recipients encompass the Wambai Support Organization Funtua Zone, Wambai Mataki na Gaba Funtua Zone, Wambai Political Awareness Funtua Zone, Eleven Thousand for Wamban Faskari Funtua Zone, and the Wambai House to House Funtua Zone.
In a similar vein, a group representing different communities from Sabuwa Local Government Area was awarded the amount of N3 million as a Sallah gift. Meanwhile, another delegation hailing from Dandume Local Government Area received N500,000 for the same occasion.
Hon. Hamza Sule took the opportunity of the Sallah celebrations to reach out to underprivileged individuals and communities, providing a medical grant of N500,000 to a group from Dogon Awo and an additional N200,000 to assist a woman in treating her child.
The Environmental Commissioner initiated prayers for the ongoing success of Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda’s administration along with APC-led governments at various levels. He also encouraged citizens across the state to keep praying for harmony and enduring progress within their community.
