The primary cause of burnout—which has become an extensive issue globally today—is work-related stress. A lot of individuals think this problem stems from their own actions, personalities, or deeply personal factors. However, they are mistaken.
The biggest contributor to burnout is undoubtedly work stress. While our thoughts, behaviors, and attitudes matter, they take a back seat when it comes to this primary driver: work-related pressure.
I have no idea what’s causing my stress! Where is all this tension coming from? And why do I feel so drained?
These questions frequently come up for me, and I'm sure you've pondered them at least once in your lifetime too. After all, everyone understands what stress feels like; we've experienced it personally and continue grappling with it every single day.
I frequently deal with workplace stressors nowadays. Since managing what you understand becomes manageable, issues lurking beneath the surface can impact you subtly without revealing their source—leading to exhaustion and intense responses. While employing various stress-management strategies may help control your physical state, mental well-being, and immediate reactions, these solutions tend to be only short-term fixes. This is because the root cause—the ongoing job-related pressure—is still present. Essentially, it's akin to placing a tiny Band-Aid over a severe injury.
You must venture into the deeper layers and address issues at their core. You can only determine how to mitigate stressors and stress once you identify them and understand where to begin tackling them.
Reveal the 20 sources of stress at your workplace, and regain control.
My burnout and my story with stress
I encountered various forms of job-related stress, initially as an employee, followed by roles as an entrepreneur, manager, and solo business owner. During my entrepreneurial phase, I experienced severe burnout. The extent of this exhaustion forced me to step away from my career temporarily, eventually leading me to change directions entirely. This shift led me to become a psychologist, driven by the desire to assist individuals grappling with significant stress and burnout.
But before we even get to burnout, let’s look at the types of stress in your work. I created a gift E-book that uncovers the 20 stressors in your work (in everyone’s work, really).
The aim of this Gift E-book is for you to:
• gain clearer insights into what triggers your stress responses
• make informed decisions about where and how to intervene and what to change
How many sources of stress do you have at present in your job?

As a professional in psychology, training, and coaching, I provide services both individually and for groups, working with individuals facing various forms of stress that you'll encounter in this e-book.
I assist individuals in cultivating flexible coping mechanisms through tailored interventions aimed at handling stress, burnout, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, I collaborate with businesses to provide both onsite and virtual training sessions for staff members to effectively deal with workplace pressure and avoid burnout.
I am currently training as a psychotherapist with expertise in various therapeutic approaches, such as music-based therapy targeting the vagus nerve—this service is available through online sessions.
