The City of Windhoek has congratulated Hon. Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma following his appointment as the Governor of the Khomas Region.
As stated by the Municipality, Nujoma was a Council member between 2020 and 2025 and took on the role of Chairperson for the Management Committee in 2023.
As a promoter of youth empowerment and economic progress, he has played a crucial role in advancing projects related to smart city developments and fiscal responsibility, significantly impacting the expansion and metamorphosis of Windhoek.
In addition to his position on the municipal council, Hon. Nujoma has played a significant part in local governance as the Chairperson of the Finance Committee at the Association of Local Authorities in Namibia (ALAN). He has also promoted national development through his involvement with the Council of the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST).
In addition, his participation in multiple directorships spanning both corporate and public domains underscores his steadfast dedication to effective leadership and sustainable progress.
